Safrana Ahmed
Counsellor
- I am a counsellor, mindfulness and breathwork facilitator with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s emotional, physical, and mental challenges using a compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach. While I have a strong focus on supporting individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and chronic pain, I also work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and overall emotional well-being.
- I have a special interest in supporting women through hormonal and life-stage changes such as perimenopause, helping clients better understand the connection between the nervous system, stress, mood, identity, and emotional regulation. I believe healing is not only about reducing symptoms, but also about helping individuals reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and create more balance, fulfillment, and happiness in their daily lives.
- My approach integrates mindfulness, nervous system regulation, psychoeducation, emotional processing, and practical coping strategies to create a grounded and supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and safe. I value collaborative care and enjoy working alongside physiotherapists, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person healing and long-term wellness.
